I think Alice would try to be nice about it, because she's all with the nice and the courtesy, but also with the sarcasm. Well, up until the point that she got fed up and lost her temper, and would shout at Ian (whose name I had to look up) for being so obtuse. And she'd feel guilty and snark about the flow charts under her breath, until Nancy would be all "Alice. I'm only going to say this once. Shut up." And then she'd kiss her. At least in my head.
